About the Marriage Equality Project

The Marriage Equality project empowers you to use nonviolent communication to engage others effectively on the sensitive sensitive issue of marriage equality, namely California Proposition 8, Arizona Proposition 101, Florida Amendment 2 and the Arkansas Adoption Act.

The Marriage Equality Project is the first campaign of Engage to End Discrimination.

Engage to End Discrimination (Engage) is currently forming as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in San Francisco, California.

Engage empowers you to use nonviolent communication to engage others effectively on sensitive issues of discrimination.

Engage is a collaborative and open educational forum with two main focuses:

#1: conduct trainings and provide materials to enable people to effectively and peacefully engage those who hold discriminatory views.

a. online materials
b. in-person training sessions
c. middle and high school training sessions

#2: to effectively and peacefully engage those who hold discriminatory views.

a. peaceful engagement at churches on Sunday
b. public seminars
c. canvassing door to door in groups to tell our stories
